The operating environment of mechanical equipment is complex, and it is in high-intensity working conditions for a long time. The condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of equipment are very important. As a kind of precision part commonly used in mechanical equipment, the healthy operation of the rolling bearing is a necessary condition to ensure the reliable operation of the whole equipment. This research takes rolling bearing as the research object and is devoted to mechanical fault diagnosis analysis and system design. This paper studies the structure and working principle of rolling bearing, analyzes the types and locations of rolling bearing faults, and puts forward the overall framework of the fault diagnosis system and the workflow of the fault diagnosis system. This paper also studies the relevant theory of deep learning, proposes a neural network model framework for rolling bearing fault diagnosis, and preprocesses the rolling bearing vibration data. It uses a dropout algorithm and GRU to reduce the model parameter size and reduce the risk of overfitting.

Analysis and System Design of Mechanical Fault Diagnosis Based on Deep Neural Network

This study proposes a side-scan sonar target detection technique for CPU or low-performance GPU to meet the requirement of underwater target detection. To rectify the gray distribution of the original side scan sonar data, enhance picture segmentation, and supply the data distribution probability for the clustering algorithm, the methodology uses a classic image processing technique that is GPU-friendly. The modified adaptive Finch clustering technique is used to segment the image and remove image voids after assessing the processed image attributes. The posterior information is then used to apply a classification label to each pixel. The characteristics of the connected region are analyzed in the data playback of the Tuandao experiment in accordance with the imaging principle of side-scan sonar and the original shape and size characteristics of the target. The predicted target results are combined with the AUV navigation information to obtain the predicted target longitude and latitude information, which is then sent to the AUV master control system to guide the next plan. The Jiaozhou Bay sea test results demonstrate that the traditional target detection algorithm put forth in this paper can be integrated into a low-performance GPU to detect targets and locate them. The detection accuracy and speed exhibit strong performance, and real-time autonomous sonar detection is made possible. 

Improved Adaptive Finch Clustering Sonar Segmentation Algorithm Based on Data Distribution and Posterior Probability

Mechanical vibration constitutes a valuable cue for performing fault diagnosis as it is directly related to the transient regime of rolling machinery. This study establishes a multidomain feature fusion network (MFFN) to extract and fuse multidomain features through a novel multistream architecture. Three primary features are simultaneously extracted from the time, frequency, and time-frequency domains. Then, highly representative features are extracted via three convolutional branches in one- or two-dimensional spaces. A novel squeeze-connection-excitation (SCE) module is proposed to adaptively fuse features in the three domains. The advantage offered by the proposed method is that it can leverage cues from the raw vibration signal, resulting in accurate fault diagnosis. Experimental results comprehensively demonstrate and analyze the high accuracy and generalization achieved by this MFFN-based fault diagnosis method.

Multidomain Feature Fusion Network for Fault Diagnosis of Rolling Machinery

This paper proposes a novel joint level set model for underwater sonar image segmentation. Combining features in points and regions in our novel joint level set (LS), it can achieve excellent performance for underwater sonar image segmentation. Regional information guides the model to locate the object of interest, whereas the point information accurately delineates contours. In addition, the unified Markov random field (UMRF) is taken to measure the neighboring relation between points and regions, which can overcome the problems of the high speckle noise, strong bias and low resolution of underwater sonar images. Our novel model can segment underwater sonar images into three partitions, such as the objects of interest, shadow and backgrounds. In contrast to current segmentation methods, outstanding results are demonstrated by our model. Moreover, another advantage of our model lies in its high efficiency.
