Interfacial modification mechanism of nanocellulose as a compatibilizer for immiscible binary poly(vinyl alcohol)/poly(ethylene oxide) blends
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of short cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) on the morphological, mechanical, and thermal properties of the polymer blends were compared systematically, and it was shown that nanocellulose between PVA and PEO eliminated the negative effects generated by the immiscible interface through increased hydrogen bonding.

Carbon Black Filled Shell of High Density Wood-Polyethylene Composites to Balance the Antistatic Properties and Mechanical Properties
TL;DR: Carbon black (CB) was used to fill the shell of wood high-density polyethylene (HDPE) composite to improve its antistatic properties and simultaneously maintain its mechanical properties as mentioned in this paper.

Light stabilizers added to the shell of co-extruded wood/high-density polyethylene composites to improve mechanical and anti-UV ageing properties
TL;DR: The results showed that UV-327 was the most effective light stabilizer for improving the mechanical and anti-UV ageing properties of the composites among the three stabilizers used.
