Coupling of Magnetic and Elastic Domains in the Organic–Inorganic Layered Perovskite-Like (C6H5C2H4NH3)2FeIICl4 Crystal
Yuki Nakayama,Sadafumi Nishihara,Katsuya Inoue,Takashi Suzuki,Mohamedally Kurmoo,Mohamedally Kurmoo +5 more
TL;DR: This is the first example of an organic-inorganic perovskite to exhibit such effects below the canted antiferromagnetism and ferroelasticity at TC =433 K, and gives additional impetus in the search for coupled hysteretic effect in organic- inorganic multiferroics.

A Chiral Prussian Blue Analogue Pushes Magneto-Chiral Dichroism Limits
Matteo Atzori,Ivan Breslavetz,Kévin Paillot,Katsuya Inoue,Geert L. J. A. Rikken,Cyrille Train +5 more
TL;DR: Under a magnetic field of 0.46 T, the most intense contribution to MChD represents 2.6% T-1 of the absorbed intensity, one of the highest values observed to date.
Magnetic properties of Cr-intercalated TiSe2
V.G. Pleschov,N.V. Baranov,Alexander Titov,Katsuya Inoue,M.I. Bartashevich,M.I. Bartashevich,T. Goto +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the magnetic properties of Cr-intercalated Cr x TiSe 2 compounds having a hexagonal crystal structure of a quasi-two-dimensional type and found that the effective magnetic moment of Cr changes nonmonotonously with Cr-content.

Photoinduced spin transition for Iron(II) compounds with liquid-crystal properties.
Shinya Hayami,Natsuko Motokawa,Aya Shuto,Naoji Masuhara,Takehiro Someya,Yoshihiro Ogawa,Katsuya Inoue,Yonezo Maeda +7 more
TL;DR: The iron(II) compounds 4-8 exhibited crystal to liquid-crystal transitions at 318, 334, 345, 338, and 347 K, respectively as mentioned in this paper, where 3Cn-L denotes bidentate Schiff-base ligands formed from corresponding aniline derivatives and pyridine-2-carboxyaldehyde.
