Cardiac abnormalities in chronic alcoholism. An evidence suggesting association of myocardial abnormality with chronic alcoholism in 107 Japanese patients admitted to a psychiatric ward.
TL;DR: Among ECG abnormalities, broad and tall PII, high RV5, high T in leads V2 and V3 and QT prolongation were the most frequent and various arrhythmias and conduction disturbances were also seen.

The Incidence of Myocardial Abnormalities in Man Related to the Level of Ethanol Consumption A Proposal of a Diagnostic Criterion of Alcoholic Cardiomyopathy
Tadashi Koide,Katsuhiko Ozeki +1 more
TL;DR: A drinking habit equal to, or more than 125ml of ethanol daily, for 10 years or longer was suggested as a criterion for diagnosis of clinically significant alcoholic cardiomyopathy.

Etiology of QT Prolongation and T Wave Changes in Chronic Alcoholism
TL;DR: Although the reason of each association was not quite clear, alcoholic myocardial damage may be a cause of QT prolongation and T wave high voltage was studied in chronic alcoholics in relation to history of alcoholism, blood chemical values, heart rate and QRS voltage.

A cineangiocardiographic study of the regional contraction sequence of the normal and diseased left ventricle in man.
Hideo Ueda,Keiji Ueda,Shigenori Morooka,Atsuo Nakanishi,Iwao Ito,Hisakazu Yasuda,Yutaka Takabatake,Yasuro Sugishita,Yasumi Uchida,Katsuhiko Ozeki +9 more
TL;DR: The method described here allows direct observation of the pattern of regional contraction sequence and also gives clinical indices of contractile state of the myocardium in normal and diseased LV in man.
