Chelate stabilized metal oxides for visible light photocatalyzed water oxidations
TL;DR: In this paper, a visible light driven photocatalytic water oxidations was undertaken that compared lactate stabilized molecular and nanoparticle cobalt complexes and calcium manganese oxides as simple mimics of the PSII CaMn4O5 catalyst.

Supramolecular Chemistry in Two Dimensions: Self‐Assembly and Dynamic Function
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors briefly outline the recent research activities in self-assembly and dynamic functionality in two dimensions, including control of molecular arrangement at solid surfaces, two-dimensional molecular patterning, and dynamic molecular recognition.

Enhanced Activity of Alcohol Dehydrogenase in Porous Silica Nanosheets with Wide Size Distributed Mesopores
TL;DR: In this paper, the pore size is optimized for maximizing the encapsulation efficiency of molecules in solid supports, and the mesopore size in the size range from 1.5 to 2.5 µm.

Novel microporous carbon material with flower like structure templated by MCM-22.
Pavuluri Srinivasu,Ajayan Vinu,Narasimhan Gokulakrishnan,Srinivasan Anandan,Anjana Asthana,Toshiyuki Mori,Katsuhiko Ariga +6 more
TL;DR: Novel flower like microporous carbons with very high surface area have been synthesized for the first time using MCM-22 zeolite as a template and sucrose as a carbon source.

Three-dimensional mesoporous TiKIT-6 with Ia3d symmetry synthesized at low acid concentration and its catalytic performances
Ajayan Vinu,Pavuluri Srinivasu,Veerappan V. Balasubramanian,Katsuhiko Ariga,Toshiyuki Mori,Yoshihiro Nemoto +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the preparation of well-ordered titanium substituted KIT-6 at low acid concentration using polymeric surfactant was reported for the first time and the characterization results showed that the pore diameter and the unit cell constant of Ti-SBA-15 increase with increasing Ti incorporation.
