POLYCYCLIC AROMATIC HYDROCARBON CONTRIBUTION TO THE INFRARED OUTPUT ENERGY OF THE UNIVERSE AT z 2
Guilaine Lagache,Herve Dole,Herve Dole,Jean-Loup Puget,Pablo G. Pérez-González,E. Le Floc'h,George H. Rieke,C. Papovich,Eiichi Egami,Almudena Alonso-Herrero,Charles W. Engelbracht,Karl D. Gordon,Karl Misselt,Jane E. Morrison +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, an updated phenomenological galaxy evolution model was proposed to fit the Spitzer 24, 70, and 160 μm number counts, as well as all the previous mid- and far-infrared observations.

Wolfire,Stefano Zibetti +41 more
TL;DR: In this paper, far-infrared and sub-millimeter photometry from the Herschel Space Observatory is presented for 61 nearby galaxies from the Key Insights on Nearby Galaxies: A Far-Infrared Survey with Herschel (KINGFISH) sample.
Frequency of Debris Disks around Solar-Type Stars: First Results from a Spitzer MIPS Survey
G. Bryden,C. A. Beichman,David Trilling,George H. Rieke,E. K. Holmes,Samantha Lawler,Karl R. Stapelfeldt,Michael W. Werner,Thomas N. Gautier,Myra Blaylock,Karl D. Gordon,John Stansberry,Kate Y. L. Su +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors search for infrared excesses around a well-defined sample of 69 FGK main-sequence field stars and find that the disk luminosity distribution is consistent with the estimated dust in our solar system being within an order of magnitude greater or less than the typical level around similar nearby stars.

Wilson,Mark G. Wolfire,Stefano Zibetti +42 more
TL;DR: The Kingfish project (Key Insights on Nearby Galaxies: a Far-Infrared Survey with Herschel) as discussed by the authors is an imaging and spectroscopic survey of 61 nearby galaxies, chosen to cover a wide range of galaxy properties and local interstellar medium (ISM) environments found in the nearby Universe.

Common-Resolution Convolution Kernels for Space- and Ground-Based Telescopes
TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe the construction of convolution kernels that allow one to generate (multi-wavelength) images with a common PSF, thus preserving the colors of the astronomical sources.
