Interannual climate variability change during the Medieval Climate Anomaly and Little Ice Age in PMIP3 last millennium simulations
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed numerical experiments undertaken by 10 climate models participating in PMIP3 (Paleoclimate Modelling Intercomparison Project Phase 3) to examine the changes in interannual temperature variability and coefficient of variation (CV) of interANNual precipitation in the warm period of the Medieval Climate Anomaly (MCA) and the cold period of Little Ice Age (LIA).

Linkage Between Preceding August Asian–Pacific Oscillation and September Precipitation Over Southeast China
TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the relationship between the August Asian-Pacific Oscillation (APO) and September precipitation over Southeast China (SC) during the period 1961-2020.
The Asian–Pacific oscillation over the past millennium in PMIP3 and PMIP4
TL;DR: In this article , the authors used 13 models from the Paleoclimate Modeling Intercomparison Project phase 3 and 4 (PMIP3 and PMIP4, respectively) to first assess their ability in simulating the climatology and interannual variability of the APO in recent decades, and then examine the changes in APO over the last millennium and attribute the associated sources.
