Ferulic acid improves intestinal barrier function through altering gut microbiota composition in high-fat diet-induced mice
Baoming Tian,Yanqing Geng,Peiyi Wang,Ming Cai,Jing Neng,Jiang-Ning Hu,Daozong Xia,Wangli Cao,Kai Yang,Peilong Sun +9 more
TL;DR: The results indicate that enhancement of intestinal barrier by altering the GM may be an anti-obesity target of FA and that FA can be used as a functional compound with great developmental values.

Kinetic study of d-limonene release from finger citron essential oil loaded nanoemulsions during simulated digestion in vitro
TL;DR: In this article, the stability of finger citron essential oil nanoemulsions during digestion in vitro were evaluated and the release kinetics of d-limonene (the main component in the oil) were developed.

Characteristics and antifatigue activity of graded polysaccharides from Ganoderma lucidum separated by cascade membrane technology
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that all graded GLPs could elongate swimming time, improve endurance and promote fatigue recovery, especially polysaccharides with molecular weights above 10 kDa, which might be potential agents with antifatigue activity.

Soy Protein Amyloid Fibril Scaffold for Cultivated Meat Application.
Zhengxun Wei,Siqing Dai,Jiayi Huang,Xinyu Hu,Chengxin Ge,Ximing Zhang,Kai Yang,Ping Shao,P.L. Sun,Ning Xiang +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , a 3D porous scaffold was developed by soy protein amyloid fibrils for cultivated meat applications, which enabled C2C12 mouse skeletal myoblasts proliferate and differentiate without adding cell adhesive proteins or other coatings.
