A Genetic Spectral Clustering Algorithm
Huiqing Wang,Junjie Chen,Kai Guo +2 more
- 01 Jan 2011
TL;DR: The suggested algorithm reduces the input dimension of the clustering algorithm using dimension reduction of spectral clustering, and replaces the traditional k-means algorithm by genetic k-Means algorithm, which effectively improves the clustered performance on both artificial data and UCI datasets.

A Heuristic Initialization-Independent Spectral Clustering
Huiqing Wang,Junjie Chen,Shaobin Huang,Kai Guo +3 more
- 01 Nov 2010
TL;DR: A heuristic initialization-independent spectral clustering algorithm is proposed that not only obtains the stable cluster centers and cluster results, but also effectively decreases the iteration times, accordingly improves the clustering performance, which validates the feasibility and effectiveness of the suggested algorithm.

An Adaptive Spectral Clustering Algorithm
Huiqing Wang,Junjie Chen,Kai Guo +2 more
- 01 Jan 2012
TL;DR: An adaptive spectral clustering algorithm that simulates the primary immune response and secondary immune response in clonal selection algorithm, so it can determine the number of cluster automatically, and obtain the corresponding cluster centers.

A K-means Clustering Method for Fuzzy Neighborhood Granules
Kai Guo,Guohe Li,Xueling Pan,Wangping Yin +3 more
- 26 May 2023
TL;DR: Zhang et al. as mentioned in this paper proposed a new neighborhood granular K-means clustering method, where samples are constructed using fuzzy neighborhood granularity technique to construct fuzzy neighbourhood granules, and the membership between samples is used for neighborhood density instead of clear neighborhood relations, which reduces the impact of outliers.
