The MAVEN Radio Occultation Science Experiment (ROSE)
Paul Withers,M. Felici,Michael Mendillo,Luke Moore,Clara Narvaez,Marissa F. Vogt,K. Oudrhiri,Daniel Kahan,Bruce M. Jakosky +8 more
TL;DR: The Radio Occultation Science Experiment (ROSE) is part of the scientific payload of the Mars Atmosphere Volatile EvolutioN (MAVEN) spacecraft.

The ionosphere of Mars from solar minimum to solar maximum: Dayside electron densities from MAVEN and Mars Global Surveyor radio occultations
Paul Withers,Paul Withers,M. Felici,K. Hensley,Michael Mendillo,E. Barbinis,Daniel Kahan,K. Oudrhiri,Zachary Girazian +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigate the changes in the ionosphere of Mars from solar minimum to solar maximum due to changes in ionizing solar irradiance, and find that the scale height of the upper regions of the photochemical ionosphere is remarkably constant between solar minimum and solar maximum, whereas the corresponding neutral temperature increases by 50%.

Correction to: The MAVEN Radio Occultation Science Experiment (ROSE)
Paul Withers,M. Felici,Michael Mendillo,Luke Moore,Clara Narvaez,Marissa F. Vogt,K. Oudrhiri,Daniel Kahan,Bruce M. Jakosky +8 more
TL;DR: This article unfortunately was published without the Electronic Supplementary Material mentioned in the article text, so with the publication of this correction the ESM “radio_occ_mvn_ssrlikev32” is now available online.
Quick-look estimates of ionospheric properties from radio occultation data
Paul Withers,M. Felici,Michael Mendillo,Luke Moore,Marissa F. Vogt,K. Oudrhiri,Daniel Kahan,E. Barbinis,Bruce M. Jakosky +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the relationship between a vertical profile of ionospheric electron density and a time series of frequency residuals is discussed and four quantitative relationships between electron density values and frequency residual values are developed.

MAVEN ROSE Observations of the Response of the Martian Ionosphere to Dust Storms
TL;DR: In this article, studies of the 2018/Mars Year 34 Planet-Encircling Dust Storm are presented, where the authors focus on the impact of the Earth's magnetic field on the dust storm.
