The ultra high vacuum system of Cryring
TL;DR: In this article, the features of the vacuum system of the accelerator/storage ring CRYRING are described using NEG-pumps based on the St 707 getter developed by SAES Getters (Milan, Italy) of low temperature type activated at 300°C and operating at room temperature in combination with sputter ionpumps.

- 17 May 1993
TL;DR: In this article, the experimental program at CRYRING storage ring began shortly after the installation of the electron cooler in May 1992 and the performance of the ion sources and the ring is reported.
CRYRING — a synchrotron, cooler and storage ring
K. Abrahamsson,G. Andler,L. Bagge,E. Beebe,P. Carle,Håkan Danared,S. Egnell,K. Ehrnsten,M. Engström,C.J. Herrlander,J. Hilke,J. Jeansson,Anders Källberg,S. Leontein,L. Liljeby,A. Nilsson,A. Paál,K.-G. Rensfelt,U. Rosengård,Ansgar Simonsson,A. Soltan,J. Starker,M. af Ugglas,A. Filevich +23 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a small synchrotron and storage ring equipped with electron cooling is described, where highly charged ions from the electron beam ion source CRYSIS are injected via an RFQ into the ring.
