TL;DR: In this article, a cascaded five level boost inverter is proposed to reduce total harmonic distortion (THD) and to improve the current shape with less number of DC sources, active switches are operated with designed unique phase shifted switching logic strategy to smoothen the shape and produce satisfactory magnitude on the output voltage.

TL;DR: In this article, a dual active switched input buckboost inverter is proposed to provide continuous power in single-stage conversion even if one of the source has zero magnitude, and the buckboost converters in the circuit is operating in sequence with special PWM logic to create required AC output voltage.
