An amorphous alloy membrane without noble metals for gaseous hydrogen separation
TL;DR: In this paper, the amorphous Zr36Ni64 was used to construct a hydrogen-permeable membrane, which exhibited a practical level of permeation rate more than 1 cm3 H2(STP)/cm2min without noble metal coating.

The corrosion behavior of amorphous Fe-Cr-Mo-P-C and Fe-Cr-W-P-C alloys in 6 M HCl solution
TL;DR: In this article, XPS and electrochemical investigations reveal that molybdenum and tungsten prevent dissolution of chromium from the air-formed films during potentiostatic passivation.

Materials for global carbon dioxide recycling
Koji Hashimoto,Michiaki Yamasaki,Shinsaku Meguro,T. Sasaki,H. Katagiri,K. Izumiya,N. Kumagai,Hiroki Habazaki,Eiji Akiyama,K. Asami +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a Ni supported ZrO2-type oxide catalysts for very rapid carbon dioxide methanation at ambient pressure with almost 100% methane selectivity was presented.

The corrosion behavior of amorphous nickel base alloys in a hot concentrated phosphoric acid
TL;DR: In this paper, the corrosion behavior of more than 50 melt-spun alloys was examined in an 87 wt% H 3 PO 4 solution at 433 K. The corrosion resistance of the former two alloy families is based on the formation of tantalum(V) phosphate and chromium(III) phosphate, respectively.

CO2 methanation catalysts prepared from amorphous Ni-Zr-Sm and Ni-Zr-misch metal alloy precursors
Michiaki Yamasaki,M. Komori,Eiji Akiyama,Hiroki Habazaki,Asahi Kawashima,K. Asami,Koji Hashimoto +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the catalytic activity of Ni-Zr-5 at% Sm catalysts increases with increase in nickel content, and is higher than the samarium-free Ni−Zr catalysts containing the same amount of nickel.
