TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the linkages between maternal communication patterns, advertising attitudes and television mediation behaviors among urban middle-class mothers in India and found that urban middleclass mothers have positive attitudes towards advertising, unlike their Western counterparts, whose attitudes were negative towards children's advertising.
