Synthesis of novel thiol surrogate of Taxol®: 2′-deoxy-2′-mercaptopaclitaxel
TL;DR: A synthetic route for the preparation of the exact thiol surrogate product of Taxol® by coupling (4S, 5S)-2,4-diphenyloxazoline-5-carboxylic acid with 7-triethylsilyl baccatin III, followed by ring-opening of the oxazoline intermediate with thiolacetic acid is described.

Fluorescent and Colorimetric Chemosensors for Pyrophosphate
TL;DR: In this article, a review of fluorescent and colorimetric chemosensors developed for the detection of pyrophosphate (PPi) since 2010 is presented, with a focus on fluorescent and colourimetric sensors.

Thanh Chung Pham,Van-Nghia Nguyen,Yeonghwan Choi,Dongwon Kim,Ok-Sang Jung,Dong Joon Lee,Hak Jun Kim,Myung Won Lee,Juyoung Yoon,Hwan Myung Kim,Songyi Lee +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the use of imidazoline-2-thione (R 1 SR 2 ) probes was reported to detect hypochlorite (HOCl/ClO-) in vivo.
Base pair opening kinetics study of the aegPNA:DNA hydrid duplex containing a site-specific GNA-like chiral PNA monomer
TL;DR: This study revealed that the aegPNA:DNA hybrid is much more stable duplex and is less dynamic compared to DNA duplex, meaning that base pairs are opened and reclosed much more slowly.
