ErmF and ereD are responsible for erythromycin resistance in Riemerella anatipestifer.
Linlin Xing,Hui Yu,Jingjing Qi,Pan Jiang,Bingqing Sun,Junsheng Cui,Changcan Ou,Weishan Chang,Qinghai Hu +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the genetic basis of erythromycin resistance in Riemerella anatipestifer, the MIC to erythyromycin of 79 R. anatipstifer isolates from China and one typed strain, ATCC11845, were evaluated.
Duplex real-time fluorescent recombinase polymerase amplification for the rapid and sensitive detection of two resistance genes in drug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.
Zhonglin Shi,Yanan Li,Anzhong Hu,Junsheng Cui,Mingxia Shao,Ling Zhu,Ke Yang,Yang Liu,Guoqing Deng,Cancan Zhu +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors combined duplex pairs of fluorescent probes with recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA) to realize the simultaneous detection of two resistance genes in drug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.

Roles of the TonB1 and TonB2 proteins in haemin iron acquisition and virulence in Riemerella anatipestifer.
Shuang Miao,Linlin Xing,Jingjing Qi,Hui Yu,Pan Jiang,Bingqing Sun,Junsheng Cui,Changcan Ou,Qinghai Hu +8 more
TL;DR: The results indicated that the TonB1, but not TonB2 protein, is involved in haemin iron acquisition and that both TonB proteins are necessary for optimal bacterial virulence.
Evaluation of the protective immunity of Riemerella anatipestifer OmpA.
Xinxin Xu,Yaohui Xu,Shuang Miao,Pan Jiang,Junsheng Cui,Yanshan Gong,Panpan Tan,Xiaoli Du,Nazrul Islam,Qinghai Hu +9 more
TL;DR: The results suggested that OmpA1467 was not a protective antigen of R. anatipestifer, and antibodies against proteins other than OMPA play a critical role in the process of anti-R.
Genome-wide mining of potential virulence-associated genes in Riemerella anatipestifer using random transposon mutagenesis.
Xintao Ni,Pan Jiang,Linlin Xing,Changcan Ou,Hui Yu,Jingjing Qi,Bingqing Sun,Junsheng Cui,Guijun Wang,Qinghai Hu +9 more
TL;DR: Results indicate that Riean_0060 and RIEan_1537 were involved in R. anatipestifer pathogenesis, and indicated that the blood bacterial loading of ducklings infected with M11 or M29 was decreased significantly, as compared with that in duckling infected with the wild-type strain YZb1.
