Unraveling molecular effects of ADAR1 overexpression in HEK293T cells by label-free quantitative proteomics.
Jisheng Guo,Xiaoyue Wang,Xin Lü,Ruirui Jing,Junqiang Li,Cuiling Li,Daoguang Wang,Baibin Bi,Xinjun Chen,Fengqin Wang,Shengnan Sun,Gong Jing,Kazem M. Azadzoi,Jing-Hua Yang +13 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that ADAR1 overexpression modulates the protein translation and cell cycle networks through PCNA-mediated protein-protein interaction to promote cell proliferation in HEK293 cells.

H2A/K pseudogene mutation may promote cell proliferation
Jisheng Guo,Ruirui Jing,Xin Lv,Xiaoyue Wang,Junqiang Li,Lin Li,Cuiling Li,Daoguang Wang,Baibing Bi,Xinjun Chen,Jing-Hua Yang,Jing-Hua Yang +11 more
TL;DR: The hypothesis that cell proliferation is promoted by the mutant H2A/K lncRNAs was supported by the protein expression and cell proliferation assay results and may be a new factor in renal carcinogenesis.

Proteomic Analysis Reveals Differentially Regulated Protein Acetylation in Human Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Spinal Cord
Dong Liu,Chaoxu Liu,Junqiang Li,Kazem M. Azadzoi,Yun Yang,Zhou Fei,Ke-feng Dou,Neil W. Kowall,Han-Pil Choi,Fernando G. Vieira,Jing-Hua Yang,Jing-Hua Yang +11 more
TL;DR: It is reported that protein acetylation in urea-soluble proteins is differently regulated in post-mortem ALS spinal cord, suggesting that acetylated and/or deacetylation play an important role in pathogenesis of ALS.
