Music courses in colleges and universities have undergone significant changes as the new curriculum reform has proceeded. As a result, student evaluations in the classroom are changing, and a diversified evaluation paradigm is gradually developing. Numerous new and more effective teaching concepts and teaching methods have been developed for revitalizing the state with science and education. This interrupts the standard instructional activities’ backward teaching pattern. Online teaching has become more significant in the area of education as technology, science, and Internet technologies have advanced. Music instructors at universities and colleges are continually updating their teaching methods and utilize several techniques to provide in-depth instruction in the classrooms. To expand students’ enthusiasm and involvement while also developing their musical creative talents, a web-based information educational administrations management system has been widely used in many universities and colleges. This study utilizes the C4.5 algorithm to create a decision tree model for establishing an evaluation system of classroom teaching to enhance the quality. The proposed algorithm evaluates the model’s accuracy and practicability using performance information from 125 teachers’ music classroom teaching. Finally, it identifies the decision-making attributes that affect the teachers’ evaluation. The quality of classroom teaching is evaluated, and some useful suggestions are provided based on the experimental results, which can support college and university decision-making by motivating teachers to improve their classroom teaching quality.

Application of C4.5 Decision Tree Algorithm for Evaluating the College Music Education

Based on the principle that residual stress in crystal lattice leads to change of distance among atoms, an approximate
linear relationship between Raman shift and suffered strain of fibers is deduced. According to the stress-strain curve, a
linear relationship between the stress and Raman shift is also deduced, and the ratio coefficient of the stress and Raman
frequency shift is given. In high intensity carbon fibers, different spectra of the carbon fibers are obtained by Raman
spectroscopy. The approximate linear relationship between the carbon fiber tensile strain and Raman shift is validated
and the stress factor is given as well. Both the theoretic and experimental results show that the stress factor is
-486.7GPa.mm. The experiment results also show that the Raman spectroscopy is a very effective method for the
microstructure residual stress measurement. This method for residual stress measurement by Raman shift is able to be
used in textile, biology, materials etc..

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a chronic heterogeneous disease characterized by persistent airflow obstruction and variable clinical presentations.[1,2] A lack of understanding regarding the molecular mechanisms underlying COPD makes the identification of critical molecules involved in COPD crucial for the development of novel diagnostic measures and therapeutic strategies. In recent decades, wide-ranging profiling methods such as microarrays and next-generation sequencing have made it easier to identify RNA transcripts that do not encode proteins, referred to as noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs).[3] NcRNAs comprise a diverse range of RNA species, characterized according to their length, shape, and location. Many ncRNAs are involved in epigenetic and posttranscriptional gene regulation, including microRNAs (miRNAs), tRNA-derived small RNAs (tsRNAs) and PIWI-interacting RNAs (piRNAs).[4] Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) and circular RNAs (circRNAs) can fold into complex secondary structures that facilitate their interactions with DNA, RNA, and protein.[4] Additionally, lncRNAs and circRNAs can bind to miRNAs in a competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network that prevents targeted mRNA degradation.[5,6] Recent studies have shown that ncRNAs play crucial roles in multiple pathophysiological processes associated with COPD.[5,7,8] A better understanding of the role of ncRNAs in COPD could contribute to the detection of biomarkers and the identification of new therapeutic targets. Here, we summarize the current findings regarding the potential role of ncRNAs, especially miRNAs, lncRNAs, and circRNAs. Additionally, we propose considerations regarding present and future research in this area.

Roles of noncoding RNAs in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

In the research of detecting extinction ratio of polarimeter, some significant characters are discovered. One polaroid has
perfect extinction ratio in the visible, but its extinction ratio becomes weak in near infrared (NIR) region, and the
transmittance of a pair of vertical polaroid becomes strong in NIR region. This phenomenon has been found in several
other polaroids as well. The transmittance increases greatly in NIR even if the crystal Glan-Taylor prism polarimeter with
good polarization is used. The extinction ratio of the polaroid changes from 3:100 in visible to 98:100 in NIR. More
experiments have shown that the weakening of extinction ratio and the enhancement of transmittance of a pair of vertical
polaroid in NIR are closely associated with the intensity of incident light. When the light intensity increases, the effect
becomes clearer. The transmittance exceeds the theoretical results from classical physical optics, reaching 98%. Our
results provide two aspects of applications. First, because the extinction ratio of the polaroid is related to the wavelength
of incident light, the polaroid can be used in definite spectral range. Second, a pair of vertical polaroid can perfectly filter
the visible light, while making NIR light transmit. This research result can provide some conveniences at IR spectrum,
IR photography, IR imaging and IR detection.

Leucine-rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2) plays an important role in a variety of inflammatory diseases, as well as peripheral and central immune responses. At present, there are few reports about the role of LRRK2 in lung cancer, and need to be further explored. The main purpose of this study is to explore the role and mechanism of LRRK2 in lung cancer. The results revealed that the expression of LRRK2 was increased in the tissues of lung cancer patient and lung cancer cells. Further studies found that interference with LRRK2 expression significantly induced the apoptosis, and promoted the expression of caspase-3, caspase-9, and Bax. More importantly, si-LRRK2 inhibited the expression of VEGF and P-gp, indicating inhibition of cell proliferation and drug resistance. What’s more, LRRK2 regulated TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathways and NLRP3 inflammasome, and TLR4/NF-κB pathways was involved in the molecular mechanism of LRRK2 on lung cancer cells. In conclusion, this study suggested that the mechanism of si-LRRK2 inhibiting the progression of lung cancer is to regulate the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathways and NLRP3 inflammasome.

Knockdown of LRRK2 inhibits the progression of lung cancer by regulating TLR4/NF-κB pathways and NLRP3 inflammasome

Background Circular RNAs (circRNAs) can act as essential regulators in many diseases, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). We aimed to explore the role and underlying mechanism of circ_0040929 in COPD. Methods A cellular model of COPD was constructed by treating human bronchial epithelial cells (16HBE) with cigarette smoke extract (CSE). The levels of circ_0040929, microRNA-515-5p (miR-515-5p) and insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 3 (IGFBP3) were measured by quantitative real-time PCR. Cell proliferation was assessed by Cell Counting Kit-8 and 5-ethynyl-2’-deoxyuridine assays. Cell apoptosis was evaluated by flow cytometry. Protein expression was measured using Western blot assay. The levels of inflammatory factors and airway remodeling were assayed via enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The interaction between miR-515-5p and circ_0040929/IGFBP3 was confirmed by dual-luciferase reporter, RNA pull-down and RNA immunoprecipitation assays. Exosomes were detected using transmission electron microscopy. Results Circ_0040929 expression and IGFBP3 expression were upregulated in the serum of smokers (n = 22) compared to non-smokers (n = 22) and more significantly upregulated in the serum of COPD patients (n = 22). However, miR-515-5p expression was decreased in the serum of smokers compared to non-smokers and further reduced in the serum of COPD. Circ_0040929 knockdown attenuated CSE-induced cell injury by increasing proliferation and reducing apoptosis, inflammation, and airway remodeling in 16HBE cells. MiR-515-5p was a direct target of circ_0040929, and miR-515-5p inhibition reversed the effect of circ_0040929 knockdown in CSE-treated 16HBE cells. IGFBP3 was a direct target of miR-515-5p, and miR-515-5p overexpression alleviated CSE-induced cell injury via targeting IGFBP3. Moreover, circ_0040929 regulated IGFBP3 expression by targeting miR-515-5p. Importantly, circ_0040929 was upregulated in serum exosomes from COPD patients. Conclusion Circ_0040929 played a promoting role in CSE-induced COPD by regulating miR-515-5p/IGFBP3 axis, suggesting that it might be a novel potential target for COPD treatment.
