TL;DR: In this paper, a multi-physics field coupling simulation model is established to describe the whole closing process for the repulsion mechanism, and the critical instantaneous closing velocity Vcri for the case of no contact bounce is determined.

TL;DR: In this paper, a gas buffer structure with an automatic pressure relief function for an electromagnetic repulsion operating mechanism and a working method for an EOS operating mechanism is described, where the movable part of the EOS mechanism can be effectively buffered; the buffer characteristic is matched with the motion characteristic of the EM operating mechanism, and the problem of release of high air pressure in an air chamber atthe last buffer stage is effectively solved.
