Research Progress on Photothermal Property of Deep Red to Near-infrared Carbon Dots
Jun Wu,Songnan Qu +1 more
TL;DR: This review introduces strategies to enhance deep red/near-infrared absorption and photothermal conversion efficiency of carbon dots, enabling targeted tumor therapy through size tuning, doping, surface engineering, and biomacromolecule coating.
Polylysine-modified near-infrared-emitting carbon dots assemblies: Amplification of tumor accumulation for enhanced tumor photothermal therapy.
Zhenjian Li,Hongwei Cheng,Bingzhe Wang,Liming Wang,Jun Wu,Bohan Zhang,Zikang Tang,Songnan Qu +7 more
TL;DR: Polylysine-modified near-infrared-emitting CDs assemblies (plys-CDs) are synthesized through post-solvothermal reaction of NIR-emitting CDs with polylysine and maintained a high photothermal conversion efficiency, coupled with increased tumor site accumulation, leading to a high efficacy in tumor PTT.
Toward Rational Design of Carbon Nanodots with High Photothermal Efficiency for Tumor Photothermal Therapy
TL;DR: In this paper , the photothermal performance of CDs synthesized from urea and citric acid via solvothermal method in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) at different temperatures was investigated.
