Shakedown analysis of engineering structures under multiple variable mechanical and thermal loads using the stress compensation method
TL;DR: Numerical applications show that the proposed numerical procedure based on the stress compensation method has good numerical stability, high accuracy and efficiency, and is well suited for shakedown analysis of large-scale practical engineering structures.

A new four-dimensional ratcheting boundary: Derivation and numerical validation
TL;DR: In this paper, a new four-dimensional ratcheting boundary is derived analytically for the first time considering the interaction among four types of stresses: constant mechanical membrane stress, mechanical bending stress, cyclic thermal membrane stress and thermal bending stress.
Buckling Analysis of Pressure Vessel Based on Finite Element Method
Jun Shen,Y.F. Tang,Yan-Kui Liu +2 more
TL;DR: In this article, a case studied in which a heavy attaching equipment was closely connected the main equipment by triangular steel structure instead of typical shirt support for the purpose of space saving, the authors introduced the basic principles, implementation procedures and software applications of local buckling analysis of pressure vessel and proposed some suggestion for the Chinese code of bulking analysis through this typical case study.

Shakedown and ratcheting analysis of Printed Circuit Heat Exchangers under multiple cyclic mechanical and thermal loads
Jun Shen,Zhiyuan Ma,Haofeng Chen +2 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors make deep research and analysis to determine shakedown and ratcheting boundary for PCHEs subjected to complex cyclic load combinations as well as the effect of channel shape and size effects based on the linear matching method.

Shakedown analysis of a torispherical head with a piping nozzle under combined loads by the stress compensation method
TL;DR: In this article, a numerical shakedown analysis using the recently developed stress compensation method (SCM) is performed for a torispherical head with a piping nozzle, which is a typical structural component of pressure vessel equipment.
