TL;DR: Histopathologically, extensive proliferation of bile ductules with fibrosis was observed in interlobular connective tissue, and it spread to form bridges with adjoining triads and Clostridium perfringens was isolated from affected livers, consistent with cholangiohepatitis.

TL;DR: A 4-year-old neutered male Chihuahua was presented with a history of anorexia and vomiting and gallbladder agenesis and a possible hypoplasia of the right medial and lateral liver lobes.
