Synthesis and structure–activity relationship of a novel series of heterocyclic sulfonamide γ-secretase inhibitors
Jun Pu,Anthony F. Kreft,S. Aschmies,Kevin Atchison,Joshua D Berkowitz,Thomas J. Caggiano,Micheal Chlenov,George Diamantidis,Boyd L. Harrison,Yun Hu,Donna M. Huryn,J. Sabalski,Shaiu-Ching Sun,Erik Wagner,Yiqun Wang,Zheng Xu,Hua Zhou,Lynn Resnick +25 more
TL;DR: A novel series of heterocyclic sulfonamide gamma-secretase inhibitors that reduce beta-amyloid levels in cells is reported, and several examples of compounds demonstrate a higher propensity to inhibit the processing of amyloid precursor protein compared to Notch, an alternative gamma- secretase substrate.

De novo synthesis of teleocidin B analogs
Jun Pu,Kangwen Deng,John A. Butera,Michael Chlenov,Adam M. Gilbert,Mike Kagan,James F. Mattes,Lynn Resnick +7 more
TL;DR: Teleocidin B analogs have been synthesized in 24 steps and 1.9% overall yield and promote cell spreading on fibroblast cells that were treated with amino-Nogo, an inhibitor of cell spreading.
