A GPU-Based Wide-Band Radio Spectrometer
Jayanth Chennamangalam,Simon Scott,Glenn Jones,Hong Chen,John Ford,Amanda A. Kepley,Duncan R. Lorimer,Jun Nie,Richard M. Prestage,D. Anish Roshi,Mark Wagner,Dan Werthimer +11 more
TL;DR: A wide-band reconfigurable spectrometer built using an off-the-shelf graphics processing unit card on the latest generation of graphics processing units, enabling high-performance online data reduction and accelerated online signal processing.
Wavelet based recognition for pulsar signals
TL;DR: Experimental results show that the wavelet based features can gain comparatively better performance over the shape parameter based features not only in the clustering and classification, but also in the error rates of the recognition tasks.

The XinJiang Astronomical Observatory NSRT Pulsar Data Archive
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors have published more than 84000 pulsar observation data files in the PSRFITS format with a maximum file size of 1GB and registered the online pulsar data service with the International Virtual Observatory Alliance registry.
Dynamic Geometry in Graphing Calculator
Tianying Chen,Jun Nie,Hongguang Fu +2 more
- 07 Mar 2009
TL;DR: This paper has successfully implemented a brand new system called "Mathematic Sketchpad", a part of the Noah graphing calculator, that owns features such as advanced mathematic functions, true color screen and touch-pen operations that emphasize powerful and user-friendly purpose.
