Immune Responsive Gene 1 (IRG1) Promotes Endotoxin Tolerance by Increasing A20 Expression in Macrophages through Reactive Oxygen Species
Yingke Li,Peng Zhang,Chengcai Wang,Chaofeng Han,Jun Meng,Xingguang Liu,Sheng Xu,Nan Li,Qingqing Wang,Xueyin Shi,Xuetao Cao,Xuetao Cao,Xuetao Cao +12 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that inducible IRG1 promotes endotoxin tolerance by increasing A20 expression through ROS, indicating a new molecular mechanism regulating hypoinflammation of sepsis and endotoxinolerance.

Rb selectively inhibits innate IFN-β production by enhancing deacetylation of IFN-β promoter through HDAC1 and HDAC8.
Jun Meng,Xingguang Liu,Peng Zhang,Dong Li,Sheng Xu,Qingqing Zhou,Meng Guo,Wanwan Huai,Xiang Chen,Quanxing Wang,Nan Li,Xuetao Cao,Xuetao Cao,Xuetao Cao +13 more
TL;DR: Retinoblastoma protein (Rb) deficiency selectively enhanced TLR- and virus-triggered production of IFN-β which thus induced more IFN -α generation in the later phase of innate stimuli, but had no effect on the production of TNF, IL-6 and early phase IFn-α in macrophages.

Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase with Proline-Glutamine-Serine-Threonine–Rich Motifs Negatively Regulates TLR-Triggered Innate Responses by Selectively Inhibiting IκB Kinase β/NF-κB Activation
TL;DR: PTP-PEST functions as a feedback-negative regulator of TLR-triggered innate immune responses by selectively impairing IKK β/NF-κB activation and suppressing IKKβ activation and kinase activity as well as downstream NF-κBs activation.

A new cytosolic DNA-recognition pathway for DNA-induced inflammatory responses.
TL;DR: There is little insight on how cytosolic DNA induces activation of the transcription factor NF-κB, which is important for the DNA-triggered production of pro-IL-1β, TNF and IL-6.
Corrigendum to "Rb selectively inhibits innate IFN-β production by enhancing deacetylation of IFN-β promoter through HDAC1 and HDAC8" [J. Autoimmun. 73C (2016) 42-53].
