Investigation of parameters that determine Nano-DC vaccine transport.
Jingxin Zhang,Junhua Mai,Feng Li,Jianliang Shen,Jianliang Shen,Guodong Zhang,Jun Li,Jun Li,Louis Hinkle,Daniel Lin,Xuewu Liu,Zheng Li,Rongfu Wang,Elizabeth A. Mittendorf,Mauro Ferrari,Mauro Ferrari,Haifa Shen,Haifa Shen +17 more
TL;DR: A positive correlation between sphericity of the PSM particles and their cellular uptake by circulating dendritic cells was revealed and the intravenously administered vaccines accumulated more in the spleens and inguinal lymph nodes, while the intradermally inoculated vaccines got enriched in the popliteal lymph nodes.
Tracking Biodistribution of Myeloid-Derived Cells in Murine Models of Breast Cancer.
Jun Li,Jun Li,Junhua Mai,Louis Hinkle,Daniel Lin,Jingxin Zhang,Jingxin Zhang,Xiaoling Liu,Xiaoling Liu,Maricela R. Ramirez,Youli Zu,Ganesh L.R. Lokesh,David E. Volk,Haifa Shen +13 more
TL;DR: Track myeloid cell distribution in the bone, liver, spleen and tumor in multiple murine models of breast cancer including the 4T1 syngeneic model and MDA-MB-231 and SUM159 xenograft models will facilitate further understanding of tumor growth and metastasis, and predict biodistribution patterns of cell-mediated drug delivery.

TL;DR: A therapeutic vaccine that promotes proliferation and tumor infiltration of antigen‐specific T cells in both inflamed and noninflamed tumor types is described and demonstrates a high potential for μGCVax in mediating antitumor immunity in personalized cancer therapy.
Sensitizing non-small cell lung cancer to BCL-xL-targeted apoptosis.
Qi Shen,Jun Li,Jun Li,Junhua Mai,Zhe Zhang,Andrew Fisher,Xiaoyan Wu,Zhaoqi Li,Zhaoqi Li,Maricela R. Ramirez,Shuqing Chen,Haifa Shen,Haifa Shen +12 more
TL;DR: A rationale for molecular profiling and a therapeutic strategy to treat NSCLC patients with pro-apoptotic anti-cancer drugs based on their MCL-1 expression level is established.
