A hierarchical nickel–carbon structure templated by metal–organic frameworks for efficient overall water splitting
Hao Sun,Yuebin Lian,Cheng Yang,Likun Xiong,Pengwei Qi,Qiaoqiao Mu,Xiaohui Zhao,Jun Guo,Zhao Deng,Yang Peng +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a hierarchical Ni-carbon composite, fabricated by growing sheet-like Ni-MOFs on commercial nickel foam prior to high-temperature annealing, was used as a highly efficient bifunctional catalyst.

γ-Fe2O3 nanoparticles embedded in porous carbon fibers as binder-free anodes for high-performance lithium and sodium ion batteries
Yujie Chen,Xietao Yuan,Cheng Yang,Yuebin Lian,Amir Abdul Razzaq,Rahim Shah,Jun Guo,Xiaohui Zhao,Yang Peng,Zhao Deng +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a facile strategy of electrospinning has been employed to fabricate freestanding anodes of γ-Fe2O3/porous carbon fibers for both lithium and sodium ion batteries, in which nanoparticles ranging from 50 to 150nm were in-situ formed and embedded in the porous carbon fibers.
