TL;DR: This multicenter analysis of 9456 mechanical thrombectomy patients found that severe prestroke disability was associated with higher mortality and lower favorable outcomes, but approximately 20% of patients with severe disability achieved favorable outcomes, suggesting they should not be excluded from treatment.
