Enantioselective Fujiwara–Moritani Indole and Pyrrole Annulations Catalyzed by Chiral Palladium(II)–NicOx Complexes
TL;DR: The catalytic asymmetric Fujiwara-Moritani ring closures of several indole-and pyrrole-based cyclization precursors are reported in this article, where the nicotine platform (NicOx) is pivotal for good catalytic turnover as conventional PyOx ligands failed to produce acceptable chemical yields.

All-Carbon-Substituted Quaternary Carbon Atoms in Oxindoles by an Aerobic Palladium(II)-Catalyzed Ring Closure onto Tri- and Tetrasubstituted Double Bonds
TL;DR: In this paper, an oxidative palladium(II)-catalyzed cyclization of α,β-unsaturated amides derived from electron-rich anilines is reported.

A Catalytic Asymmetric Fujiwara-MoritaniCyclization
TL;DR: In this article, an enantioselective intramolecular Fujiwara-Moritani direct C-H functionalization using modified PyOX ligands was reported for the first time, which eventually produced a stereogenic quaternary carbon with promising enantiocontrol (54% ee) and in good chemical yield (71%).
