Association of Burden of Atrial Fibrillation With Risk of Ischemic Stroke in Adults With Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation: The KP-RHYTHM Study.
Alan S. Go,Alan S. Go,Alan S. Go,Kristi Reynolds,Jingrong Yang,Nigel Gupta,Judith C Lenane,Sue Hee Sung,Teresa N. Harrison,Taylor I. Liu,Matthew D. Solomon,Matthew D. Solomon +11 more
TL;DR: A greater burden of atrial fibrillation is associated with a higher risk of ischemic stroke independent of known stroke risk factors in adults with paroxysmal atrial Fibrillation.
Arrhythmia patterns during and after hospitalization for COVID-19 infection detected via patch-based mobile cardiac telemetry
Olga Reynbakh,Eric D. Braunstein,Mike Hsu,Jeff Ellis,Lori Crosson,Judith C Lenane,Andrew Krumerman,Luigi Di Biase,Kevin J. Ferrick +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , arrhythmia type and frequency in patients with COVID infection were analyzed using a patch-based mobile cardiac telemetry system, and the authors found that arrhythmias were detected in 72.9% of patients and at a consistent frequency throughout the monitoring period in 52.5%.

A randomized clinical trial of screening for atrial fibrillation with a 14-day patch monitor: analysis of ecg recordings from the guard-af study
Daniel E. Singer,Steven J. Atlas,Alan S. Go,Renato D. Lopes,Steven A. Lubitz,David D. McManus,James H. Revkin,Donna Mills,Lori Crosson,Judith C Lenane,Ronald S. Aronson +10 more
TL;DR: In GUARD-AF’s older primary care population, 0.5% of screened participants had persistent AF and 4% had PAF detected within 2 weeks of monitoring, suggesting increased stroke risk.

Comparison of data quality and monitoring completion rates between clinic and self-applied ECG patches
Jack Goergen,Graham Peigh,Mike Hsu,Alan Wilk,T. Nayak,Lori Crosson,Judith C Lenane,Bradley P. Knight,Rod S. Passman +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors compared ECG patch return rates, mean percentage of analyzable time, and mean percentages of prescribed wear time between clinic and self-applied ECG patches.
