Rapid visual detection of aluminium ion using citrate capped gold nanoparticles.
TL;DR: The visual detection of Al(3+) using unlabeled gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) based on the complexation of Al (3+) with citric acid, resulting in the aggregation of AuNPs is reported.

Rapid synthesis and characterization of ultra‐thin shell Au@SiO2 nanorods with tunable SPR for shell‐isolated nanoparticle‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SHINERS)
TL;DR: In this paper, a silane-based rapid synthesis method of silica-coating Au nanorods (Au@SiO2 NRs) with manoeuvrable ultra-thin shell and tunable SPR was introduced.

Au–Fe/Ni alloy hybrid nanowire motors with dramatic speed
TL;DR: Au-Fe/Ni alloy nanowire motors, having an average length of 5.4 ± 1.2 μm and a diameter of 280 ± 10 nm, can move fast in a mixed fuel containing H2O2 and N2H4 as mentioned in this paper.

Propulsion of copper microswimmers in folded fluid channels by bipolar electrochemistry
TL;DR: In this paper, the formation of hydrogen bubbles at one extremity of a bipolar electrode was used to control the motion of microswimmers in folded liquid filled channels by bipolar electrochemistry.
The role of hydrazine in mixed fuels (H2O2/N2H4) for Au–Fe/Ni nanomotors
TL;DR: In this paper, Tafel plots, linear sweep voltammetry (LSV) and oxygen sensing were employed and integrated to explore hydrazine's function and explain the locomotive behaviour of Au-Fe/Ni nanomotors.
