IgA vasculitis in adults: the performance of the EULAR/PRINTO/PRES classification criteria in adults
Alojzija Hočevar,Ziga Rotar,Vesna Jurčić,Jože Pižem,Saša Čučnik,Alenka Vizjak,Rianne van den Broeke,Matija Tomšič,Matija Tomšič +8 more
TL;DR: In the adult population the EULAR/PRINTO/PRES IgAV classification criteria had a higher sensitivity and specificity than the ACR criteria.
Frequent alterations in p16/CDKN2A identified by immunohistochemistry and FISH in chordoma.

TL;DR: It was identified that mRNA levels were comparable in tumours with and without p16 protein expression, but other events including DNA promoter hypermethylation, copy number neutral loss of heterozygosity and expression of candidate microRNAs previously implicated in the regulation of CDKN2A expression were not identified to explain the protein loss.

Zika Virus–Associated Micrencephaly: A Thorough Description of Neuropathologic Findings in the Fetal Central Nervous System
Peter Štrafela,Alenka Vizjak,Jerica Mraz,Jernej Mlakar,Jože Pižem,Nataša Tul,Tatjana Avšič Županc,Mara Popović +7 more
TL;DR: The findings are in agreement with neuroimaging of Zika virus-associated fetal and infant micrencephalic brains and, to some extent, with neuroIMaging of other intrauterine infections causing microcephaly.
Zika virus associated microcephaly/micrencephaly-fetal brain imaging in comparison with neuropathology.
T. Vipotnik Vesnaver,N Tul,Sara Mehrabi,Francesca Parissone,P Štrafela,Jernej Mlakar,Jože Pižem,Miša Korva,T. Avsic Zupanc,Mara Popović +9 more
TL;DR: It is shown thatfetal brain imaging in comparison with neuropathology is a viable alternative for diagnosis ofmicrencephaly and its applications in medicine and pediatrics are still to be investigated.
