TL;DR: The National Cardiogenic Shock Initiative is a single‐arm, prospective, multicenter study to assess outcomes associated with early mechanical circulatory support in patients presenting with acute myocardial infarction and cardiogenic shock treated with percutaneous coronary intervention.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the independent impact of increasing vasopressor dose on survival in patients presenting with acute myocardial infarction and cardiogenic shock (AMICS).
Hemodynamics of renal artery stenosis.
Josh Todd,George A. Stouffer +1 more
TL;DR: A 55-year-old white female with hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, and a history of 4-vessel coronary artery bypass grafting 10 years previously presented with complaints consistent with crescendo unstable angina and underwent an uncomplicated angioplasty and stent placement to the left renal artery 2 days after intervention on the saphenous vein graft.

Impact of Age in Acute Myocardial Infarction Cardiogenic Shock. Insights from the National Cardiogenic Shock Initiative
Alejandro Lemor,Mir B Basir,Sarah Gorgis,Josh Todd,Steve Marso,Joseph Gelormini,Yasir Akhtar,John Baker,Juan Chahin,Mohammad Abdul-Waheed,Nandish Thukral,William W. O'Neill +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated the outcomes of patients based on their age group, dividing them into 1 vasopressor and 3 vasopregressive agents (i.e., 2 vasoprocessors and 1 IV) and found that age is inversely proportional to survival.
