Surface Recombination Evaluation in Bipolar Junction Transistors by Combined Electro-Optical Method
Viorel Banu,Josep Montserrat,Xavier Jordà,Philippe Godignon +3 more
- 01 Oct 2018
TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe an original method for very short minority carrier lifetime evaluation of semiconductor junctions that is aimed to be mainly used for the surface recombination studies of bipolar junction transistors made on silicon carbide.
Design and fabrication of Si technology miicrogenerators for vibrational energy scavenging
N. Fondevilla,Christophe Serre,Alejandro Pérez-Rodríguez,J. R. Morante,Josep Montserrat,Jaume Esteve +5 more
- 16 Mar 2009
TL;DR: In this article, the design, fabrication and characterization of an electromagnetic inertial microgenerator compatible with Si micro-systems technology is presented, which includes a fixed micromachined coil and a movable magnet mounted on a resonant polymeric structure.
Correlation between Structural and Optical Properties of Si Nanocrystals in SiO2: Model for the Visible Light Emission
Manel López,B. Garrido,O. Gonzalez,C. García,Alejandro Pérez-Rodríguez,Joan Ramon Morante,Caroline Bonafos,Marzia Carrada,Rafael Rodríguez,Josep Montserrat +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the Stokes shift between absorption and emission as a function of the size of the Si-SiO2 interface is determined. But the experimental Stokes shifts are independent of nanocrystal size and are 0.26±0.03 eV.
Design of a microinductive device integrated within a simple resonant differential filter for high sensitivity portable biodetectors
S. Martinez,Alejandro Pérez-Rodríguez,Christophe Serre,J. R. Morante,J. Esteve,Josep Montserrat +5 more
- 06 Sep 2005
TL;DR: In this article, the design and characterization of Si technology microinductive devices to be integrated within resonant differential filters for high sensitivity detection of biological molecules is described, and the simulation of these simple circuits shows sensitivity values of the differential output voltage up to 339 mV/nH.
Impact of channel mobility improvement using boron diffusion on different power MOSFETs voltage classes
Victor Soler,Maria Gabello,Maxime Berthou,Josep Montserrat,Jose Rebollo,Philippe Godignon,Enea Bianda,Andrei Mihaila +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a SiC planar VDMOS of three voltages ratings (1.7 kV, 3.3 kV and 4.5 kV) has been fabricated using a Boron diffusion process into the thermal gate oxide for improving the SiO 2 /SiC interface quality.
