TL;DR: In this article, a cross-sectional general adult population survey conducted in a representative sample of the noninstitutionalized population of Finland, Poland, and Spain was used to study the correlates of active aging in three European countries, namely, Spain, Poland and Finland using four different definitions of AA.

Sarcopenia and fall-related injury among older adults in five low- and middle-income countries.
TL;DR: In this article, the authors assessed this association among older adults from five low and middle-income countries (China, India, Ghana, Mexico, and Russia) and found that sarcopenia was associated with a 185 (95%CI ǫ=124-277) times higher odds for fall-related injury with a low level of between-country heterogeneity.

TL;DR: Beneficial effects of caffeine intake are shown for the first time on neurocognition in male schizophrenic patients and further research of therapeutics based on caffeine is needed, as this could be beneficial for schizophrenia patients and smoking appears to be detrimental.

Predictors of remission in the treatment of major depressive disorder: real-world evidence from a 6-month prospective observational study
TL;DR: The association between Somatic Symptom Inventory pain scores and remission no longer appeared to be significant in this multiple regression, and the potential mediating role of treatment with duloxetine on the negative relationship between depression-related pain and outcomes of depression is highlighted.
