Phosphor–Aluminum Composite for Energy Recycling with High‐Power White Lighting
TL;DR: In this paper, a thermally robust phosphor-aluminum composite (PAC) fused with low-melting glass is introduced, which exhibits a high thermal conductivity of 31.6 W m−1 K−1 and exhibits excellent thermal stability in luminous flux and chromaticity.

Y/Gd-free yellow Lu3Al5O12:Ce3+ phosphor for white LEDs
TL;DR: In this paper, the solid solubility limit of Ce 3+ ions into Lu-based garnet, Lu 3(1− x ) Ce 3 x Al 5 O 12, was determined as below 6.7 mol% (3 x x ≥ 0.2 ǫ).

Eu2+-Mn2+ energy transfer in white-light-emitting T-phase (Ba,Ca)2SiO4:Eu2+, Mn2+ phosphor
Namsik Choi,Kwangwon Park,Boowon Park,Xinmin Zhang,Jongsu Kim,Jongsu Kim,Patrick Kung,Seongsin M. Kim +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a T-phase Eu 2+ /Mn 2+ -codoped (Ba, Ca) 2 SiO 4 phosphors are achieved in terms of the energy transfer between Eu2+ and Mn 2+ ions.

A novel blue-emitting Sr3Al2O5Cl2:Ce3+,Li+ phosphor for near UV-excited white-light-emitting diodes
TL;DR: In this article, a blue-emitting Sr3Al2O5Cl2:Ce3+,Li+ phosphor has been synthesized by solid state reaction and the excitation spectrum shows a broad band extending from 300 to 400 nm, and the emission spectrum showed a broad blue band peaking at 450 nm with a half width of about 100 nm.

Multifunctional Device based on phosphor-piezoelectric PZT: lighting, speaking, and mechanical energy harvesting.
TL;DR: The piezoelectric-induced electroluminescence effect was demonstrated by applying only mechanical pressure to the device without any external electric power, and the temperature dependence on EL luminances and SPLs was demonstrated.
