Donor Smoking Negatively Affects Donor and Recipient Renal Function following Living Donor Nephrectomy.
Jonathan P. Heldt,Robert R. Torrey,Daniel Han,Pedro W. Baron,Christopher Tenggardjaja,Justin D Mclarty,Tekisha U. Lindler,D. Duane Baldwin +7 more
TL;DR: Use of tobacco by kidney donors is associated with decreased posttransplant renal function, although smoking cessation can improve outcomes, and Kidneys from donors who smoke should be used with caution.
Robot-Assisted Radical Prostatectomy in Patients with Previous Renal Transplantation
Damien Smith,Forrest Jellison,Jonathan P. Heldt,Christopher Tenggardjaja,Ryan Bowman,Daniel H. Jin,Joshua Chamberlin,Paul D. Lui,D. Duane Baldwin +8 more
TL;DR: RARP can be performed in previous transplant patients with acceptable morbidity and oncologic outcomes similar to those of other prostate cancer patients, and is feasible in patients with a previous renal transplant.

Comparing stone attenuation in low- and conventional-dose noncontrast computed tomography.
Muhannad Alsyouf,Damien Smith,Gaudencio Olgin,Jonathan P. Heldt,Michelle Lightfoot,Roger Li,D. Duane Baldwin +6 more
TL;DR: Compared stone HU attenuation between low- and conventional-dose NCCT, which has high sensitivity, specificity, and is able to predict stone composition using Hounsfield units (HU) but is associated with high radiation exposure.

Ureteral Calculi Detection Using Low Dose Computerized Tomography Protocols is Compromised in Overweight and Underweight Patients
Jonathan P. Heldt,Jason C. Smith,Kirk M. Anderson,Gideon Richards,Gautum Agarwal,Damien Smith,Amy Schlaifer,Nicholas T. Pittenger,Daniel Han,Brenton D. Baldwin,Gabriel Schroeder,D. Duane Baldwin +11 more
TL;DR: The sensitivity and specificity for the detection of ureteral calculi on computerized tomography were decreased for underweight and overweight subjects when using extremely low dose radiation settings (less than 1 mSv).

Prostate specific antigen levels and prostate cancer detection rates in patients with end stage renal disease.
Catherine Chen,Jonathan P. Heldt,Kirk M. Anderson,Herbert C. Ruckle,Gautum Agarwal,Damien Smith,Amy Schlaifer,Gideon Richards,Don C. Arnold,D. Duane Baldwin +9 more
TL;DR: In the study population of patients with end stage renal disease age stratified prostate specific antigen was higher than in the general population and the cancer detection rate was increased.
