TL;DR: Both single and multigrain U-Pb zircon thermal ionization mass spectrometry (TIMS) as well as sensitive high resolution ion microprobe (SHRIMP ll) dating of two suites of Adirondack granites have yielded ages constraining the principal tectonomagmatic events of the Ottawan Orogeny to the interval ca 1090-1035 Ma as mentioned in this paper.

Timing of anatexis in the eastern Adirondack Highlands: Implications for tectonic evolution during ca. 1050 Ma Ottawan orogenesis
TL;DR: In this article, high-resolution ion microprobe (SHRIMP) analyses of zircons from migmatitic metapelites in the eastern Adirondack Highlands demonstrate that substantial anatexis took place ca. 1050 Ma during the late, but still high-grade, ca. 1090-1050 Ma Ottawan orogeny.

The intrusion breccia in the valley of Roaring Brook, Giant Mountain, Adirondack Highlands, New York: A modern interpretation
TL;DR: In this paper, an intrusion breccia exposed along Roaring Brook on the west face of Giant Mountain in the Adirondack Highlands (eastern USA) has been reinterpreted as a magma conduit.
