Iridoid glucosides in Plantago alpina and P. altissima
TL;DR: Two new glucosides were found in Plantago, namely 10-O-acetylgeniposidic acid and alpinoside, another compound with a 10- O- acetyl group.

Synthesis of carbocyclic homo-N-nucleosides from iridoids
TL;DR: In this article, two iridoid glucosides, antirrhinoside (1) and catalpol (2), were converted into selectively protected polysubstituted cyclopentylmethanols, which were subsequently used to was superior with regard to both ease of purification and yield.

Environmentally Sensible Organocatalytic Fmoc/t-Bu Solid-Phase Peptide Synthesis.
Jan Pawlas,Jon Holbech Rasmussen +1 more
TL;DR: In this article , a proof-of-principle Fmoc/t-Bu solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) method was presented, in which both couplings and deprotections were catalyzed by readily available reagents in an inexpensive green solvent.

Elevating 1-tert-Butyl-3-ethylcarbodiimide (TBEC) as a Reagent for Sustainable Peptide Synthesis: Quality Assessment and Minimizing Racemization, Precipitation, and Radical-Induced Side Reactions by TBEC/Oxyma Couplings in an Environmentally Sensible Solvent
TL;DR: In this paper , an integrated study of TBEC/Oxyma as peptide couplers is reported, focusing not only on the performance but also on its cost, hazards associated with its use, sustainability of the route of synthesis, the end-life strategies, as well as the potential impact of impurities in the reagent on the synthesis.
