A single cell high order scheme for the convection-diffusion equation with variable coefficients
TL;DR: In this paper, a schema de differences finies for convection-diffusion coefficients variables is proposed, and the resulting system is resolué par des methodes iterative.

Single cell discretizations of order two and four for biharmonic problems
TL;DR: New difference formulas are derived for solving the biharmonic problem in two dimensions over a rectangular domain using only the nine grid points of a single mesh cell and do not require fictitious points in order to approximate the boundary conditions.

High‐order methods for elliptic equations with variable coefficients
TL;DR: In this article, the authors give a simple method for developing finite difference schemes on a uniform square gird and derive two such schemes which are attractive because they can be adapted quite easily bnto obtain formulas for gird points near the boundary.

Single Cell High Order Difference Methods for the Helmholtz Equation
TL;DR: In this paper, a procedure for deriving certain high order difference formulas for the Helmholtz equation is given, and families of formulas of order 2, 4, and 6 are derived.
