TL;DR: Among intermediate-grade and high-grade lymphomas, increased proliferative activity and diploidy were associated with more frequent responses to treatment and allowed an objective approach to lymphoma classification based on ploidy, proliferation, and RNA characteristics that also had prognostic implications.

DNA flow cytometry of thyroid neoplasms.
TL;DR: Mechanically dispersed cell suspensions from 23 thyroid lesions were studied by acridine orange flow cytometry and found differentiation between clinically indolent and aggressive carcinomas may be possible by nuclear DNA determination, but further work is needed to determine the importance of proliferative activity.
