TL;DR: In this paper, the authors report the incidence and characteristics of endophthalmitis after intravitreal injections of anti-vascular endothelial growth factor agents or corticosteroids and describe the clinical and bacteriologic characteristics, management, and outcome of these eyes with acute endopharthmitis in France.

Correction of postkeratoplasty astigmatism by femtosecond laser compared with mechanized astigmatic keratotomy.
TL;DR: AK performed with the femtosecond laser was effective in reducing postkeratoplasty astigmatism and has some advantages over conventional techniques, however, efficacy could be improved by a more accurate nomogram and alignment of treatment.

Small effect of interline spacing on maximal reading speed in low-vision patients with central field loss irrespective of scotoma size.
Aurélie Calabrèse,Jean-Baptiste Bernard,Louis Hoffart,Géraldine Faure,Fatiha Barouch,John Conrath,Eric Castet +6 more
TL;DR: Vertical crowding does not seem to be a major determinant of maximal reading speed for patients with central scotomas, and increasing interline spacing is advisable only for very slow readers who want to read a few words (spot reading).

Inhibition of corneal neovascularization after alkali burn: comparison of different doses of bevacizumab in monotherapy or associated with dexamethasone
Louis Hoffart,Frédéric Matonti,John Conrath,Laurent Daniel,Bernard Ridings,Guillaume S. Masson,Frédéric Chavane +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of different doses of bevacizumab with both saline and dexamethasone on inflammatory angiogenesis in the rat cornea induced by small chemical lesions were compared.

Clinical Study on the Initial Experiences of French Vitreoretinal Surgeons with Heads-up Surgery.
Renato Menezes Palácios,Kim Vieira Kayat,Christophe Morel,John Conrath,Frédéric Matonti,Bruno Morin,Michel Eid Farah,François Devin +7 more
TL;DR: Evaluating the initial experience of four experienced vitreoretinal surgeons in France with a three-dimensional (3-D) system finds that Vitrectomy surgery to treat MHs and RRDs can be performed using the 3-D with the same efficiency as microscopy.
