Bridge-dependent electron transfer in porphyrin-based donor-bridge-acceptor systems.
TL;DR: Photoinduced electron transfer in donor-bridge-acceptor systems with zinc porphyrin (or its pyridine complex) as the donor and gold(III) porphirin as the acceptor has been studied and an electronic coupling of 5-20 cm(-)(1) between the donors and acceptor is estimated.

Phospholipid membrane permeability of peptide nucleic acid
Pernilla Wittung,Johan Kajanus,Katarina Edwards,Peter E. Nielsen,Bengt Nordén,Bo G. Malmström +5 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that passive diffusion of unmodified PNA is not an effective way of transport into biological cells.

Mediated electronic coupling: Singlet energy transfer in porphyrin dimers enhanced by the bridging chromophore
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated how the medium between a donor and an acceptor influences EET by separating the influence of the electronic structure of the bridging chromophore from other effects known to influence the energy transfer.

Mediated energy transfer in covalently linked porphyrin dimers
Kristine Kilså Jensen,Sofia B. van Berlekom,Johan Kajanus,and Jerker Mårtensson,Bo Albinsson +4 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors report the observation of mediated energy transfer in a series of geometrically well-defined porphyrin dimers, which consist of a free base porphrin (5,15-diphenyl-α, β-octaalkylporphyrin, H2P) and corresponding zinc porphryin (ZnP), connected by aryl chromophores with varying energies of the lowest excited states.
