Clinical Significance of EpCAM mRNA-positive Circulating Tumor Cells in Hepatocellular Carcinoma by An Optimized Negative Enrichment and qRT-PCR based Platform
Wei Guo,Xin-Rong Yang,Yun-Fan Sun,Minna Shen,Xiao-Lu Ma,Jiong Wu,Chunyan Zhang,Yan Zhou,Yang Xu,Bo Hu,Xin Zhang,Jian Zhou,Jia Fan +12 more
TL;DR: An optimized platform based on negative enrichment and qRT-PCR for highly sensitive, specific, and reproducible CTC detection and the clinical significance of epithelial cell adhesion molecule mRNA-positive (EpCAMmRNA+) CTCs is established.

Co-amplification at lower denaturation-temperature PCR combined with unlabled-probe high-resolution melting to detect KRAS codon 12 and 13 mutations in plasma-circulating DNA of pancreatic adenocarcinoma cases.
TL;DR: It was concluded that COLD-PCR with unlabeled-probe HRM can be a sensitive and accurate screening technique to detect KRAS codon 12 and 13 mutations in plasma-circulating DNA for diagnosing and treating PA.

Determination of carbohydrate-deficient transferrin in a Han Chinese population
TL;DR: The first CDT cut-off for the Han Chinese population is proposed and evaluated, and it is shown that the CDT capillary zone electrophoresis system is a reliable analytic method.

Gene detection method with combination of COLD polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and high-resolution melting (HRM) of luna probe
Wei Guo,Chunyan Zhang,Jiong Wu,Bin-bin Song,Beili Wang,Yan Zhou +5 more
- 12 Sep 2012
TL;DR: In this paper, a gene detection method with the combination of COLD polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and high-resolution melting (HRM) of a luna probe is presented.

Identification of serum biomarkers for pancreatic adenocarcinoma by proteomic analysis
TL;DR: Serum samples were applied to strong anionic exchange chromatography protein chips for protein profiling by surface enhanced laser desorption/ionization time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry (SELDI‐TOF‐MS) to distinguish PaCa from noncancer and the identified protein biomarker C14orf166 is a potential biomarker of PaCa.
