Risk of low-energy fracture in type 2 diabetes patients: a meta-analysis of observational studies.
TL;DR: Patients with T2DM had a greater risk of low-energy fracture especially of the hip, compared with that in non-diabetic subjects, although according to the funnel plot a publication bias may be present and the finding needs to be interpreted with caution.

TL;DR: Investigating the occurrence of new fractures in sandwich vertebra after cement augmentation procedures and evaluating the clinical outcomes after prophylactic vertebral reinforcement applied with resorbable bone cement found that Cobb angle increased and vertebral height lost significantly in the non-prevention group.
