Outer membrane vesicles-transmitted virulence genes mediate the emergence of new antimicrobial-resistant hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae
Yuneng Hua,Jingyu Wang,Mei Huang,Yiyi Huang,Ru-Yi Zhang,Fan Bu,Biao Yang,Juanjiang Chen,Xiao-Min Lin,Xiumei Hu,Lei Zheng,Qian Wang +11 more
TL;DR: In this article , outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) secreted from gram-negative bacteria are used as the vector of virulence genes horizontal transfer among Klebsiella pneumoniae and to explain the potential mechanism for the development of antimicrobial-resistant hvKp isolates.

Quantitative Proteomic Analysis Uncovers the Mediation of Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress-Induced Autophagy in DHAV-1-Infected DEF Cells.
Jingjing Lan,Ruihua Zhang,Honglei Yu,Jingyu Wang,Wenxiang Xue,Junhao Chen,Junhao Chen,Shaoli Lin,Yu Wang,Zhijing Xie,Shijin Jiang +10 more
TL;DR: Proteomics analysis indicated that DHAV-1 infection could cause endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress-induced autophagy in DEF cells, and that ER stress was an important regulatory factor in the activation of Autophagy.

Integrated miRNA and mRNA Expression Profiles Reveal Differentially Expressed miR-222a as an Antiviral Factor Against Duck Hepatitis A Virus Type 1 Infection
Nana Sui,Ruihua Zhang,Yue Jiang,Honglei Yu,Guige Xu,Jingyu Wang,Yanli Zhu,Zhijing Xie,Jiaqing Hu +8 more
TL;DR: The results reveal changes of mRNAs and miRNAs during DHAV-1 infection and suggest miR-222a as an antiviral factor against DHAv-1, indicating that miR–mRNA pairs with a negative correlation may be important for virus resistance, cell proliferation, and metabolism.
Occurrence and molecular epidemiology of fosA3-bearing Escherichia coli from ducks in Shandong province of China
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper investigated the prevalence and molecular characteristics of fosA3-harboring E. coli strains from ducks in Shandong province of China, and they found that the fos A3-carrying isolates were not a result of clonal dissemination, but were randomly selected for pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) typing and S1-nuclease PFGE, respectively.

Molecular Characterization and Phylogenetic Analysis of Feline Calicivirus Isolated in Guangdong Province, China from 2018 to 2022
Jianwei Mao,Shaotang Ye,Qi Li,Yumeizi Bai,Jie Wu,Liang Xu,Zhen Wang,Jingyu Wang,Pei Zhou,Shoujun Li +9 more
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper investigated the prevalence of FCV in Guangdong Province in China, a total of 152 nasal and throat swabs from cats suspected of infection were collected in veterinary clinics or shelters from 2018 to 2022.
