NRAMP2, a trans-Golgi network-localized manganese transporter, is required for Arabidopsis root growth under manganese deficiency.
Huiling Gao,Huiling Gao,W. Xie,W. Xie,Chang-hong Yang,Chang-hong Yang,Jingyi Xu,Jingyi Xu,Jingjun Li,Hua Wang,Xi Chen,Chao-Feng Huang,Chao-Feng Huang +12 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that under Mn-deficient conditions, increased accumulation of H2 O2 is partially responsible for the root growth inhibition and NRAMP2 is involved in remobilization of Mn in Golgi for root growth.

OsMTP11, a trans-Golgi network localized transporter, is involved in manganese tolerance in rice.
TL;DR: It is suggested that OsMTP11 is a TGN-localized Mn transporter that is required for Mn homeostasis and contributes towards Mn tolerance in rice.

The Intracellular Transporter AtNRAMP6 Is Involved in Fe Homeostasis in Arabidopsis.
Jiyu Li,Yuerong Wang,Lu Zheng,Yun Li,Xueli Zhou,Jingjun Li,Dongfang Gu,Ending Xu,Yaping Lu,Xi Chen,Wei Zhang +10 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that AtNRAMP6 is localized to the Golgi/trans-Golgi network and plays an important role in intracellular Fe homeostasis in the flowering plant genus Arabidopsis and is found to exacerbate the sensitivity of the yeast mutant Δccc1 to an excessive amount of Fe.
Phylogenetic and Expression Analysis of Mn-CDF Transporters in Pear (Pyrus bretschneideri Rehd.)
TL;DR: Seven members of the Mn-CDF subgroup were identified in Chinese white pear based on recently released draft genome of pear and Quantitative real-time PCR analysis indicated that these genes were widely expressed in the root, stem, and leaf tissues of the pear seedlings, but the expression levels differed among the different tissues.
