Spatio-temporal evolutionary characteristics and type classification of marine economy resilience in China
Jinghui Wu,Bo Li +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the spatio-temporal evolutionary characteristics of marine economy resilience in three coastal areas of China were analyzed based on multi-dimensional perspectives, and the entropy weight method (EWM) was adopted to assign weights to each resilience dimension to define the marine economy-associated resilience value.

Estimates of diurnal and daily net primary productivity using the Geostationary Ocean Color Imager (GOCI) data
Jinghui Wu,Joaquim I. Goes,Helga do Rosario Gomes,Zhongping Lee,Jae Hoon Noh,Zhehai Shang,Joe Salisbury,Antonio Mannino,Won Jae Kim,Young-Je Park,Michael Ondrusek,Veronica P. Lance,Menghua Wang,Robert Frouin +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used the unique short-temporal measurements provided by the Korean Geostationary Ocean Color Imager (GOCI), to obtain for the first time, diurnal and daily measurements of surface and euphotic-column integrated Net Primary Productivity (NPP).

Variation of phytoplankton absorption coefficients in the northern South China Sea during spring and autumn
TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the temporal and spatial variabilities of phytoplankton absorption coefficients (αphλ)) and their relationships with physical processes in the northern South China Sea from two cruise surveys during spring (May 2001) and late autumn (November 2002).
Horizontal and vertical migration of cyanobacterial blooms in two eutrophic lakes observed from the GOCI satellite.
TL;DR: Based on the fractional floating algae cover, the diurnal dynamics and migration of floating algal blooms were evaluated, and the horizontal and vertical migration speed of phytoplankton was estimated from the proposed algorithm in two eutrophic lakes, Lake Taihu and Lake Chaohu in China as mentioned in this paper .
