The invention relates to a portable hydrogen generator for generating hydrogen through aluminium alloy hydrolysis and a control method. The invention belongs to the technical field of hydrogen preparation and is characterized in that the hydrogen generator comprises a water injection tube, a heat exchange area, a capillary tube, water inlet cylindrical tubes, an alloy storage chamber (namely reaction area), a separation membrane and a hydrogen storage chamber. Water is added through the water injection tube and passes through the heat exchange chamber, the capillary tube at the side upper part of the hydrogen storage chamber and the water inlet cylindrical tubes to react with alloys in the storage chamber. The generated hydrogen is stored in the hydrogen storage chamber or is led out fromthe gas outlet tube. The rate of generating hydrogen through alloy hydrolysis depends on the potential energy difference between the water injection tube and the capillary tube and the rotating depthof a water injection tube nut. The hydrogen generator has the advantages of simple device, safety, reliability, electricity omission, good controllability, steady output hydrogen pressure and the like, can effectively control the generating rate and yield of hydrogen and is suitable for various fuel cells.

The system has the characteristics of low cost, high hydrogen generation speed, high hydrogen purity, continuous hydrogen production, no external power supply and the like and is suitable for generating hydrogen on site.

The invention has the advantages of simple structure, low construction cost, reliable technique, safety, high hydrogen generating speed, high purity of the hydrogen, less energy consumption and no pollution, etc., and is particularly applicable to movable situations.

The hydrogen producing method of the tube-flow hydrogen producing device is characterized in that fluidized aluminum in the aluminum paste pot and the alkali liquor in the alkali liquor pot enter the reaction zone in the hydrogen generator with double-layer tubular structure to react according to reaction proportion through the metering pump, so as to produce the hydrogen; the heat exchange zone of the hydrogen generator is passed through by cooling liquid for heat exchange; and the hydrogen and reaction waste liquor enter the gas-water separator. The tube-flow hydrogen producing device has the advantages of high hydrogen production rate, high purity of the hydrogen, no power consumption, small pollution, high pressure of output hydrogen, stable flow rate, simple structure, safety and reliability, good controllability, and wide application range and so on.
