Performance of Ce substituted hydrotalcite-derived mixed oxide catalysts Co2.5Mg0.5Al1 − x%Cex%O used for soot combustion and simultaneous NOx-soot removal
TL;DR: In this paper, the Co2.5Mg0.5Al1-x%Cex%O hydrotalcite-derived catalysts (CMACex) with different Ce/AI atomic ratios were synthesized by co-precipitation, which simultaneously possess multiple properties for soot combustion, lean-burn NOx storage and simultaneous NOx-soot removal.

Domain-confined catalytic soot combustion over Co3O4 anchored on a TiO2 nanotube array catalyst prepared by mercaptoacetic acid induced surface-grafting
TL;DR: This catalyst exhibits much better performance for catalytic soot combustion than the conventional TiO2 powder supported one in gravitational contact mode (GMC).

Hollow silica nanosphere/polyimide composite films for enhanced transparency and atomic oxygen resistance
Jing Zhang,Ling Ai,Xiao Li,Xiao Li,Xianpeng Zhang,Yuehui Lu,Guofei Chen,Xingzhong Fang,Ning Dai,Runqin Tan,Weijie Song +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, hollow silica nanospheres (HSNs) were inlaid in transparent polyimide (PI) films for the formation of an HSN/PI composite structure.

Highly charged hydrogel with enhanced donnan exclusion toward ammonium for efficient solar-driven water remediation
Qingbo Xiao,Yan Zhu,Yonglan Xi,Xiangping Kong,Xiaomei Ye,Zhiyang Zhang,Cunpu Qiu,Wenlong Xu,Shuang Cheng,Jing Zhang,Mingli Jia,Enhui Sun,Hongzhen Lin,Jian Wang +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, a positive charge-assisted Janus hydrogel evaporator with enhanced Donnan exclusion toward ammonium is uniquely achieved without sacrificing the water evaporation capability, which points out new avenues for the application of photothermal materials in separating freshwater from small volatile molecules using clean solar energy.
